Worst Purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon I’ve never experienced anything like this juicer. I guess you get what you pay for.It looks okay for the price. Things started out well.I was quite proud of myself for saving so much money by not purchasing a higher priced unit.I juiced 3 oranges and 3 small limes and the unit died.No funny burned smells. Perfect for small quanities…and occasionally large I cook with a lot of fresh citrus juice, and purchased this after my (more expensive) manual juice press broke after only a year of moderate use. I used this several times a week during the several months of citrus season and am very pleased with my purchase. I usually only juice 2-4 fruits at a time, but the juicer has also held up for a couple marathon juicing sessions of 20-30 lemons a session (to freeze the juice from the last lemons off my tree of the season). Great Little Juicer I wanted a small and simple juicer, primarily for lemons/limes. I wanted it to be dishwasher safe, and I wanted to pay around $15. This is it. It probably doesn’t compare to the models that are five times as expensive, and it’s probably much smaller. But that was what I wanted. I don’t need a a professional juicer to make a pitcher of limeade or a key lime pie.
